Donate to Junior Golf

As most of you know, the Mississippi Golf Association also has a Mississippi Junior Golf Foundation. This foundation provides Mississippi youth the chance to play competitive golf in the summer time at a reasonable cost. There are close to 300 junior golfers varying from seven to eighteen years old. An impressive number of these golfers go on to play college golf. The MJGF also awards the Bill Cass Memorial Scholarships to deserving seniors and supports local tournaments, some of which also provide a scholarship to players.

Birdies for Charity - Gulf Resort Classic, Fallen Oak, Biloxi, MS

The Mississippi Junior Golf Foundation has partnered with the Gulf Resort Classic Birdies for Charity program. Birdies for Charity is a fund-raising program designed to give participating charities the opportunity to generate contributions for their organization based on the number of “birdies” made by PGA TOUR Champions players during the 2017 Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic.

Tickets for Charity - Sanderson Farms Championship, Country Club of Jackson, Jackson, MS

The Mississippi Junior Golf Foundation is pleased to announce another year with the Tickets for Charity program through the Sanderson Farms Championship PGA Tour Event. Tickets for Charity raises money for participating charities by those charities selling Good-Any-Day tickets to the Sanderson Farms Championship with 50% of proceeds from ticket sales going to the charities.

Each person who purchases tickets will be given the opportunity to guess the total number of birdies made during the 2016 Sanderson Farms Championship. We expect between 1500 and 1800 birdies will be made by the PGA TOUR pros during the 2016 Sanderson Farms Championship. The person who makes the correct prediction wins the grand prize. In case of a tie, the grand prize winner will be randomly selected.
